The 80s was a milestone era for people who love rock music for it saw the rise and growth of bands such as AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Van Halen, etc. But it was also the decade of the pop music lovers- two of the biggest pop stars in the world (arguably) belonged to this decade after all!

The 80s was certainly an amazing decade for rock music lovers as well. In the US and the UK,  several rock bands shot to international fame and acclaim during this decade. Bands such as Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, The Smiths, Poison, Van Halen, ZZ Top, Journey and Foreigner stole the scene. Heavy metal bands such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden also changed the musical scene during the decade. These are bands that still have an international following and have dedicated fans all over the world. It’s been 3 decades since they came on to the scene and people still listen to their music and follow their concerts- one needs no more proof that this was one of the best decades for music all around the world.
